Hi,
Here is new trick to give a fire effect to your text.
Following are the steps for effect:
- Open a new file and set mode as a Grayscale.
- Fill the background with black color.
- Type a text in white color which you want to give fire effect.
- Place the text in the lower part of the image.
- Then flatten image. (Layer > Flatten image.)
- Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 CCW.
- Image > Adjust > Invert.
- Filter > Stylize >Wind, set Direction to From the Right.
- Image > Adjust > Invert.
- Filter > Stylize > Wind.
- Filter > Stylize > Wind.
- Image >Rotate Canvas > 90 CW.
- Filter > Distort > Ripple. I set Amount to 61; you can play with it a bit.
- Image > Mode > Indexed Color.
- Image > Mode > Color Table, set Table: to Black Body.
