Now days there are fashion to use animation in the advertisements or in movies. There are so many companies, studios which are famous in the animation world. Pixar also one of them. Pixar animation studio is an American computer animation. It is especially famous for the CGI animated feature films.

Pixar also had a deal with Walt Disney Feature Animation. On January 24, 2006, Disney announced that it had agreed to buy Pixar for approximately $7.4 billion in an all-stockdeal.


Pixar have done many short films also. for eg.

Pixar’s movies are nominated and get awarded also.

  • Toy Story (1995): Academy Special Achievement Award winner, Best Song Oscar nominee, Best Original or Musical Comedy Score Oscar nominee, Best Original Screenplay Oscar nominee
  • A Bug’s Life (1998): Best Original Score Oscar nominee.
  • Toy Story 2 (1999): Best Song Oscar nominee, Best Motion Picture – Comedy/Musical Golden Globe winner.
  • Monsters, Inc. (2001): Best Animated Feature Oscar nominee, Best Song Oscar Winner.
  • Finding Nemo (2003): Best Animated Feature Oscar winner.
  • The Incredibles (2004): Best Animated Feature Oscar winner, Best Sound Editing Oscar winner.
  • Cars (2006): Best Animated Feature Oscar nominee, Best Song Oscar nominee, Inaugural Best Animated Feature Golden Globe winner.
